THE POOL is a temporary exhibition space inside an empty swimming pool.
After the season ends, the pool becomes empty and, for a while, loses its usual function. I wanted to use this moment and, together with a group of artists, try to turn it into a space for art.
For me, it is important that the pool is not just a backdrop. Its shape, depth, colour, edges and everything around it become part of the exhibition itself.
The first exhibition is called “Change of Season.” It is about transition- the moment when something familiar has already ended, but something new has not yet begun.
Some may see it as a change of season, while others may see a change of place, state, rhythm, or relationship with the world around us. I intentionally kept the theme open so that each participant could approach it through their own practice.
